Admission open for the English Department

The Department of English Language was established at Shatt Al-Arab University College in 1995, and it is the first English language department to be opened in private colleges in the southern region. Over the course of 27 years of the department's operation, 1353 students graduated with a bachelor's degree in English language and literature, and today they supplement the labor market in Basra Governorate and other parts of Iraq.

The main objective of the English Language Department at Shatt Al-Arab University College is to teach and train students to be qualified to work in various sectors such as teaching English in schools and working as translators in foreign companies and various government departments as well as in private sector companies and its various projects.
